Line Fashion Show 2024For the fashion show of 2024, we wanted the theme to be something that everyone could associate with.
We thought of fairytales because their timeless narratives resonate across cultures and generations, offering a captivating lens for creative exploration.
But we aren’t talking about the happily-ever-after Disney fairytales.
These stories that we are familiar with are actually retellings of their original narrative, removing elements of the original story that are disturbing or taboo to make it more “Magical” and “Child-friendly.”
We want to strip back fairytales to their roots and realise the more “authentic and uncensored versions” of fairytales. Convey what lies behind the romanticised stories.

7 deadly sins
LINE Fashion Show 2023In his narrative poem Divine Comedy, Dante Alighieri defined the concept of seven deadly sins.
Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, and Pride are still the most famous ways of eternal death. In 1993, the contemporary Australian artist Susan Dorothea White presented her interpretation of the concept in relation to modern times. According to White, The sins of our time are the complete inverse of Dante's sins taken to extremes: Celibacy, Dieting, Squandering, Workaholism, Indifference, sucking up, and Self-effacement.
LINE fashion show for 2023, Juxtaposed the classic sin and the modern sin and presented a sin that merged the two.
