Podcast Banner & Logo Design

The purpose of logos is that they are eye-catching, memorable, and symbolic of the cause. 

I was inspired by the retro sci-fi style with neon colors and high contrasts to create bold imagery.

For memorability, I relied highly on the facial expression of surprise and questioning, which also correlates to the cause of our podcast, which is to discuss social issues that we found shocking or notions that we haven’t yet pondered. 
The podcast's cause is also to delve into our queries about human behaviors. Because we aim to provoke thought in the audience, I used the pattern of swirls primarily in my logo, which generates movement resembling our listeners being drawn into thinking about the ideas we discuss in our podcast.
